About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer who can build, customize, and maintain high-performing Shopify stores. The ideal candidate should understand Shopify theme development, app integration, and eCommerce optimization.
You will be responsible for developing Shopify stores, improving store performance, and implementing features that improve user experience and conversion rates.
This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify themes
- Build responsive and high-performance Shopify stores
- Convert design files (Figma, Adobe XD, PSD) into Shopify pages
- Modify Liquid templates to customize store functionality
- Install and configure Shopify apps
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools
- Optimize store performance, speed, and SEO
- Troubleshoot and fix store bugs or technical issues
- Implement custom features and functionality
- Ensure website is mobile-friendly and responsive
- Manage product pages, collections, and checkout customization
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Shopify platform
- Experience with Shopify Liquid templating language
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience customizing Shopify themes
- Understanding of Shopify apps and integrations
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Knowledge of responsive design
- Experience with Git or version control
- Understanding of eCommerce user experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building custom Shopify themes from scratch
- Knowledge of Shopify Plus
- Experience with Shopify app development
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Experience with page builders like PageFly, Shogun, or GemPages
- Basic knowledge of SEO for eCommerce stores
