🧑💻 About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our growing remote team. You will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, developing APIs, managing databases, and ensuring high performance and security across our applications.
If you enjoy solving complex problems, writing clean code, and working in a fully remote environment, this role is for you.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
- Build scalable and secure server-side applications
- Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) to ensure data integrity and performance
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
- Debug, test, and deploy backend systems
- Follow best practices for security and data protection
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong knowledge of at least one backend language:
- Node.js / Python / PHP / Java / Go
- Experience with frameworks such as:
- Express.js, Django, Laravel, Spring Boot, etc.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
- Experience with databases:
- MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
- Familiarity with authentication (JWT, OAuth)
- Experience with Git and version control
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
⭐ Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with GraphQL
- Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
